Resolution & File Size

Most land-based photos will be at least 18" X 12" @ 350 dpi. They will be delivered as a TIF file, in sRGB, and are approximately 60 megabytes each.
 
Aerial-based photography will yield slightly smaller file sizes, but will also be delivered as a TIF file, in sRGB format.

A smaller JPEG file of each TIF file will be delivered for your ease of viewing and distribution. Each JPEG will be approximately two megabytes.

Site Coordination

It's likely we'll make three visits to your location. The first is to scout-out the site-specific requirements, watch lighting patterns and to ensure everything is in place. The second and third visits will be for photography during a morning and again at evening.

Weather & Seasons

If there are weather or seasonal considerations we can arrange multiple shoots. For instance, we can photograph the interiors of a new school just before the start of a school year; and shoot additional external photos in the late spring when the landscaping is developed and matured.

Patiently waiting for the perfect skies is often not feasible. After consulting with you, we can explore sky-swapping during the editing phase if necessary.

Delivery Method

Your high-resolution TIF files and their smaller, JPEG duplicates will be delivered to you via Google Drive, DropBox (or other file-transferring service, if requested.)

Onsite

You are welcome to accompany us for the entire shoot, especially to review any staging or specific composition requirements. Each interior shot may take 45-60 minutes to set, so please schedule accordingly.

Licensing & Insurance

Shutter Scorpion, LLC maintains current licensing and GL insurance for all activities. A supplemental GL endorsement provides specific coverage for aerial photography.

All aerial photography is flown in strict accordance with FAA regulations. GL Insurance and a current FAA Part 107 license is available for inspection at any time.

If specific FAA clearance is required for your property's location, we are authorized to request and coordinate such activities.
